Top40Poll

Track submissions, listener voting, promotion and weekly charts for radio stations, in one platform.

The dashboard of a station's own branded Top40Poll site, with tools and directories, recent pending and approved tracks, and an overview of submissions and polls

Radio stations that run a listener chart spend hours every week collecting tracks, chasing artwork and biographies, setting up the vote, promoting it and counting the results. Most community stations do this with volunteers and no budget. Top40Poll does that work in one place, so a station can spend its time on the music.

Artists do the paperwork themselves. Artists and promoters register and submit their own tracks through an electronic press kit: audio, artwork, biography, press photos and links. Submissions arrive complete and consistent, the station’s inbox is freed up, and each artist gets a dashboard of their own, a promo pack and an EPK page they can embed on their own website.

Running a poll is a guided journey. The station creates a poll, assigns tracks from its review queue, generates the promotion, schedules the emails, launches the vote, and then finalises and publishes the chart. The dashboard unlocks each step in order, so nothing goes out before it’s ready.

Promotion is generated, not hand-made. For every track the platform produces promo images for social media, Instagram stories, Facebook video and a QR code, plus thank-you videos and card sheets with a ready-to-copy caption that tags each artist.

Listeners vote wherever they are: on the station’s own website, on a mobile-friendly vote page, or by scanning a QR code on air or at an event. When the poll closes, the chart is published with result cards for each track and a Spotify playlist. Maps show the station where the votes came from and where its artists are based.

Every station has its own branded site, with room for its sponsors, and agencies have a portal of their own for working with several stations.
